Anderson 6, Franklin 2
Anderson County took advantage of numerous Franklin County errors and Logan Woodside collected three runs batted in as the Bearcats defeated the Flyers, 6-2, last Thursday night in Frankfort. It was the second time in little more than a week that Anderson had been successful against Franklin.
Woodside drove in Granville Hayes with a fourth-inning single then belted a two-run home run, his sixth of the season, in the sixth inning to put the icing on Anderson’s cake. Woosided finished at 3-for-4 and scored three runs.
