Roughly 400 people packed meals for the hungry in Haiti on Nov. 9, sending more than 100,000 bags of rice and raising more than $25,000 for the “Harvest for Haiti” ministry, according to event organizers.
Fox Creek Christian Church served as the host for “Harvest for Haiti,” a ministry sponsored by Mission Journeys.
Two of the Lawrenceburg event organizers, Lisa Floyd and Donnie Campbell, set goals of 100,000 meals and $20,000 over the course of eight hours.
