Anderson Community Education helped the Anderson County middle and high schools celebrate Constitution Week, held Sept. 17-21, by purchasing roughly 2,000 ‘Pocket Constitution’ booklets to distribute to students studying history, civics and government.
According to Director Jacque Zeller, each educational institution that receives federal funds for a fiscal year shall hold an educational program on the U.S. Constitution on Sept. 17, as mandated by a 2004 law.
