The Lawrenceburg man accused of stomping on his girlfriend’s puppy and setting it on fire is scheduled to make his first appearance in District Court on Thursday, Oct. 28.
Paul “Doobie” Dearinger is due in court at 9 a.m. for a pretrial conference, according to court records.
Dearinger made headlines across the Bluegrass earlier this month for allegedly killing an 8-month-old puppy following an argument with his girlfriend.
A search for Dearinger ensued, including police offering a cash reward for information leading to his arrest.
