Unemployment rates rose in 96 Kentucky counties between November 2012 and November 2013, and Anderson County was no exception.
Anderson’s rate jumped from 6.3 percent in November 2012 to 6.7 this past November, according to information released by the Kentucky Office of Employment and Training.
The rate dipped, though, from 7 percent in October.
Of the 10,747 people in the county’s labor force, 743 were unemployed, the office said in a news release.
