Anderson Community Education offers classes

Anderson Community Education will offer the following computer classes over the next several weeks.

Basic Microsoft Word
When: Tuesday, March 8 and Thursday, March 10 from 6-8 p.m.
Where: Adult Learning Center, 219 E. Woodford St. with instructor Beth Feddersen
Cost: $30
Description: Learn basic computer skills. You will be introduced to Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access, but a main focus will be on Word. You will learn the toolbars within the program and how to save and cut and paste documents.

“Where’s the On Button” — Beginner Computer
When: March 11, 18 and 25 on Friday afternoons from 12:30-2:30 p.m.
Where: Adult Learning Center, 219 E. Woodford St. with instructor Jacqueline Zeller
Cost: $30

Excel and Beyond
When: Tuesday, March 15 and Thursday, March 17 on from 6-8 p.m.
Where: Adult Learning Center, 219 E. Woodford St. with instructor Beth Feddersen
Cost: $30
Description: This class teaches the basics of Excel including formulas, borders, tables and much more.  Come with your Excel questions, and we will solve them together.

PowerPoint Presentations
When: Tuesday, March 22 and Thursday, March 24 from 6-8 p.m.
Where: Adult Learning Center, 219 E. Woodford St. with instructor Beth Feddersen
Cost: $30
Description: In this class you will learn how to customize animations, do slide transitions, rehearse timings, and much more. By the end of the class, you will be able to give great PowerPoint presentations. Bring pictures on CD to make learning more fun.
