Anderson Community Education is offering the following classes.

Beyond Basic Dog Obedience
When: May 12-June 16 on Thursday evening from 6-7.
Where:Anderson County Park (Behind the Extension Office) with professional instructor Jean Gibowski.
Cost: $69
Description: This is a follow-up class to help your dog continue to learn obedience skills. The dog should have a basic understanding of sit, down, stay and heel. Emphasis will be on working towards off leash control and working around distractions. Methods of positive reinforcement will be used.

Where’s the On Button?  Beginner Computer
When: May 6, 13, and 20 offered Friday afternoons from 12:30-2:30 p.m.
Where: Adult Learning Center, 219 East Woodford St. with instructor Jacqueline Zeller
Cost: $30
Description: This three-week afternoon class is designed to teach adults, with one-on-one instruction, how to use a computer and mouse. Learn to access internet sites for family research, travel plans, local weather, sports and news.
This class includes a basic introduction to Microsoft Word and Excel for creating office documents.
Basic keyboarding (free class) is a requirement before taking this class, call 839-3754 for an appointment to begin. (Limit four students)
