Anderson County Grand Jury: Man indicted for third DUI

A Versailles man was indicted May 8 by the Anderson County Grand Jury for his third driving under the influence charge, fleeing from police and other traffic charges. according to court documents.
Jason D. Nelson, 35, of 324 Ridge Wood Drive was also indicted on his third offense of driving with a revoked or suspended license, along with possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle and failure to produce an insurance card.
The indictments stem from a traffic stop last December by the Kentucky State Police.

Other indictments
Toby Smith, 32, of 95 Mink Run Road, Waddy, was indicted on one Class D felony count of receiving stolen property valued at under $10,000.

Michael T. Jackson, 32, of 502 East Court St., Lawrenceburg was indicted on a felony count of theft by unlawful taking, attempted escape, second offense driving under the influence, giving a false name to a police officer and reckless driving.
The indictments stem from a Jan. 8 traffic stop.
Keneisha M. Ashby, 32, of 217 Grant Drive, Lawrenceburg, was indicted with third-degree felony assault, resisting arrest, second-degree disorderly conduct, menacing and failure to notify DOT of address change.

Ashley Nicole Powell, 33, of 904 Plaza Drive, Frankfort was indicted for felony shoplifting.
The indictment stems from an incident last November at Walmart.
Tonya P. Franklin, 39, of 191 Manley Leestown Road, Frankfort was indicted for felony wanton endangerment, failure to render aid, driving under the influence, no insurance or registration and no seat belts from a traffic incident dating back to April, 2010.
Robert V. Bentley, 42, of 101 Plantation Drive, Lawrenceburg, was indicted for first-degree possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The indictment stems from an incident in December, 2011.
Kenneth N. Watson, 32, of 216 Ripy St., Lawrenceburg, was indicted on first-degree possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
The indictments stem from an incident in January.
Joshua Moore, 31, of 302 ½ Bond St., Lawrenceburg, was indicted for two felony counts of first-degree trafficking and possession of a controlled substance.
The indictments stem from an incident in October, 2011.
Larry Curtsinger, 46, of 215 Bluebird Court, Lawrenceburg, was indicted for second-degree trafficking of a controlled substance, a Class D felony.
The indictment stems from an incident in March.
Matthew R. Herman, 20, of 1038A Stonecrest Court, Lawrenceburg, was indicted for first-degree trafficking of a controlled substance, trafficking a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school and failure to wear a seat belt.
The charges stem from an incident in December, 2011.
