Anderson County schools will be in session today, said Larry Basham, assistant superintendent.
"Regular time, no delays -- we're going to school," Basham said.
Schools have been closed since Tuesday after a winter storm blanketed the area with several inches of snow, as well as a layer of ice.
According to local forecasts, Friday will be cloudy with a small chance for rain. The high will be around 38.
