Jimmie and Margaret Currens will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception at Beaumont Inn in Harrodsburg.
The reception is scheduled for March 27 from 2 to 4 p.m. All friends are relatives are invited, and the couple requests no gifts.
The were married March 25, 1961.
She is retired from Cricketeer in Harrodsburg. He is retired from IBM in Lexington.
They are the parents of Terry Currens of Harrodsburg and Keith Currents of Lawrenceburg. Their grandchildren are Jesse and Kaci.
