Anniversary: J.W. and Thelma O. Whitaker

J.W. and Thelma O. Whitaker celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Feb. 25.
They were married at the First Baptist Church in Lawrenceburg on Feb. 25, 1951.
Soon after their marriage, they moved to Lexington and lived there until 1968. They spent the rest of their working years in South Dayton, Fla.
J.W. worked in the automotive industry and Thelma worked at General Electric.
After they retired, they relocated to the St. Johns River and pursued their love of fishing, boating, flea markets and yard sales.
