Ten members of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 34 went to Thomson Hood Veterans Center in Wilmore on Dec. 8 for a Christmas Party for the Roosevelt Unit.
Shopping was done from a wish list for each of the 55 residents. Unit 34 members helped pass out food provided by the Veterans Center and gifts to the veterans provided by the Auxiliary and Post 34. Veterans asked for sweat suits, sweater jacket, sweat jacket, farm picture, slacks, robe and audio books.
This was the seventh year Unit 34 has done the Christmas party at Thomson Hood.
