Bardstown ended the Anderson County Middle School girls' basketball team's drive for a three-peat with a 32-21 victory in the finals of the Mid-Kentucky Athletic Conference tournament, held Thursday at Anderson County High School.
The Lady Mustangs' two-year reign over the tournament ended in a way uncharacteristic of a team that finished its season at 23-4 and a middle school career at 72-11.
Anderson shot just 15 percent from the field on the night.
