The Anderson County High School baseball program is sponsoring the inaugural Anderson County  Baseball Alumni Game. All former players are invited to come out for the event.

There will be one 9-inning game pitting the odd year graduates versus the even year graduates. Also on the program will be raffles, door prizes, silent auctions, and much more. All proceeds will benefit the Anderson County High School baseball program.

The game will be held on Sunday, March 20 at 2 p.m. at the Anderson County field located behind the school's freshman center, or the old Emma B. Ward Elementary school.

The cost for players is $15. All players will receive a t-shirt and an adjustable Anderson County baseball cap.

Tickets for spectators are $5 each.

Anderson County coach L.W. Barnes says the program would like to honor all former coaches, who are asked to RSVP as soon as possible.

For more information or to confirm a desire to play in the game, contact Barnes by e-mail at l.barnes@anderson.kyschools.us. Put “Alumni Game” in the subject line and include name, graduation year and shirt size.

Players can also contact Barnes at the school at 839-5118.
