Bearcats to face one of mountains' best teams in Kentucky Prep Classic

A date with one of eastern Kentucky's best teams highlights this week's Anderson County boys' basketball schedule.

The Bearcats will play 15th Region power Paintsville on Saturday, Jan. 19 at 2:30 p.m. in the Kentucky Prep Classic at Montgomery County High School in Mt. Sterling.

"Paintsville is very similar to us," Anderson coach Glen Drury said. "They have some size and several good players."

Drury scouted the Tigers in a game against Lawrence County last week.
