Bearcats, Lady Bearcats sweep Oldham

BUCKNER – Anderson County's basketball teams put a huge damper on Oldham County's homecoming festivities as the Bearcats and Lady Cats swept a double-header in Weedman Gym.

The Bearcats roared out of the gate to a 9-0 lead and were never seriously threatened as they posted a 55-36 win in the opener. It was Anderson's first win at Oldham County since 1976.
