The Anderson County boys' basketball team figures to be a work in progress during the 2010-11 season, but get a chance to go against live competition on Tuesday, Nov. 30 when the Bearcats travel to Casey County.
Some printed schedules have listed the game as being played on Monday, but Anderson coach Glen Drury says the correct date is Tuesday. “We had a late change of the date but the schedules had already been printed,” he said.
The Bearcats were beaten by West Jessamine in a scrimmage at Cat Madness Saturday night. At least five players Drury expects to see extensive action did not play against West Jessamine as they had just finished football the night before.
Anderson's first home game is set for Friday, Dec. 10 when the Bearcats host Mercer County.
