The Anderson County High School boys' basketball team will be playing at Bourbon County Friday, Feb. 15 at 6 p.m. There will be no junior varsity game.

The scheduling details were finalized Wednesday afternoon.

Bourbon, coached by former Covington Holmes and Ashland mentor Mike Flynn, will bring a 10-15 record into the contest and has not beaten a team with a winning record this season. Anderson coach Glen Drury will undoubtedly note that the Colonels have had close losses to a good Clark County team and West Carter, one of the top teams in the 16th Region in recent weeks.

The Colonels do have a good tradition, including a state runner-up finish in 1984.

Anderson and Bourbon last played in the 1993 Harrison County Invitational Tournament with the Bearcats winning that won in a big way.

Anderson's game with Henry County, scheduled for Tuesday night, was postponed due to snow. No make up date has been set. With the regular season ending on Feb. 23, it is unlikely that the game will be rescheduled.

Drury is also working on picking up a game for Saturday, Feb. 16, but nothing had been finalized as of Wednesday evening.
