BEREA -- Jacob Russell and B.J. Robinson hooked up for a 60-yard touchdown pass on the first play from scrimmage igniting a scoring explosion as Anderson County routed host Madison Southern 52-0 in high school football action Friday night.
The Bearcats piled up 38 points in the first quarter, then cruised for their third consecutive season-opening win.
"I am pleased, but not satisfied," Anderson coach Mark Peach said in what has become a common refrain around the Bearcat camp in the young season.
