JEFFERSONTOWN -- Anderson County exploded for 20 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to post a 37-14 win at Jeffersontown Friday night. Anderson improved to 4-0, 2-0 in district play. The win also clinched a berth in the state playoffs for the Bearcats.
J-town fell to 2-1.
Clinging to a 17-14 lead entering the final 12 minutes, Anderson broke things open when Jacob Russell and B.J. Robinson scored on runs of seven and 18 yards in a 94-second span. Russell added another score midway through the fourth quarter to cap the scoring.
