Beard-eater instigator posts bond

The man who admitted making another man eat his own beard last fall will be sentenced Aug. 16 for violating his probation.
Troy Holt was convicted earlier this year in Anderson District Court of violating a domestic violence order against his wife and failing to pay restitution to Harvey Westmoreland, the man forced to eat his own beard.
Those incidents got him hauled back into Anderson Circuit Court on Tuesday morning, where Judge Charles Hickman set a $5,000 surety bond and set a date for his sentencing.
