Bellarmine University senior guard Vance Hall was named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for Feb. 24, according to a news release.

Hall led Bellarmine to a pair of important road wins during that week. Hall poured in a team-high 19 points while dishing out seven assists in Bellarmine's 106-63 rout of St. Joseph's. The senior point guard also came up with a steal and committed only one turnover. Two days later, he was a steady leader while helping direct to Bellarmine to a stunning road upset of No. 4 Indianapolis. Hall nearly copied his stat line from the St. Joe's game, with 18 points, eight assists and again had just one turnover while also getting an assist.

For the week, Hall averaged 18.5 points, 7.5 assists, 1.5 rebounds while shooting 68.8 percent from the field, including going six of seven from the 3-point line. For the season, Hall is averaging 14.3 points and 4.8 assists per game for the Knights.

During last week's GLVC Tournament, Hall led Bellarmine with 26 points against William Jewell and 28 in a quarterfinal win over Indianapolis.

Hall collects his second GLVC Player of the Week honor of his career, having won the award back on Nov. 19, 2012.

Hall played high school basketball at Franklin County before spending the first two years of his college career at Wright State. He is the son of Mike and Kim Hall and the grandson of Darrell and Janice Clark of Lawrenceburg.
