Spencer County's boys beat Shelby County, 61-56, on Tuesday night in a game that reportedly was much closer than most expected.

According to our sister paper, The Sentinel-News in Shelbyville, Spencer shot 24 free throws to Shelby's four. Spencer hit just half of its chances at the free throw line.

Logan and Chris Dunbar led Spencer with 18 and 16 points while Eric Schreiner, whose desperation 3-pointer gave Shelby a win over Anderson County last Wednesday, finished with 13 for Shelby.
