I really don't have a lot to offer on the scandal at Penn State that has now cost Joe Paterno his job. Like you, I get news like that from the national media.
And I am stunned.
I can't really say I have been a Penn State fan over the years. Nor can I say I particularly dislike the Nittany Lions either. I only saw Joe Pa on the side line, in person, just once. That was way back in 1976 when Penn State visited Lexington as one of the regal names in college football but left with a 22-6 whipping that was probably worse than the score could indicate.
