Bluegrass group releases new CD

Mercer County residents Ric Maxfield, Karen Maxfield and Adam Hopkins, and Anderson County resident Chuck Bowman of the Royal Blue Bluegrass Band has announced the release of their latest CD, a self-titled project named Royal Blue.
The group began recording the CD last December, which was produced and directed by bluegrass music great Ron Stewart, according to a news release.
It’s the group’s fourth CD and contains 11 familiar bluegrass songs and one original, “Lucto Breakdown,” featuring Bowman on banjo.
