It took Anderson County eight minutes to get warmed up, but when the Bearcats finally did, they played the part of the hottest team in the Eighth Region.
Anderson won its seventh straight game and the 17th in 18 decisions with a 73-46 romp past the visiting Pirates in the second game of a double-header last Friday night. The game might not have been even that close.
Anderson improved to 19-2 on the year.
“We took care of business,” Anderson coach Glen Drury said. “We are definitely a better club than they are.”
