A constable who apparently filed for re-election in the wrong district claims “someone” in the county clerk’s office changed his filing documents.
County Clerk Jason Denny refutes that claim and insists the constable, Chuck Imel, is to blame for changing the documents, and did so in his presence.
Imel called Denny’s response a “blatant lie.”
