LOUISVILLE – Anderson County showed it can play some mean baseball in the Louisville Invitational Tournament, but the Bearcats left with a little taste of the “what might have been.”
Anderson won a pair of games by the mercy rule but also felt its own generosity prevented a clean sweep in the extravaganza.
The 40-team tournament does not crown a champion but brings many of the best teams from around Kentucky into Louisville for an intensive weekend of baseball.
Anderson’s three games were played at Holy Cross High School.
