The Championship Horse Show begins Wednesday night at the Lawrenceburg Fair and Horse Show.
The show is made up of different classes each night, with over 100 classes total.
Ribbons are given to eight places in each class, said Bobby Thornberry, a member of the Lawrenceburg Fair and Horse Show executive committee.
The riders are judged on posture and how they handle the horse, and judges look at how the horses raise their feet and how they walk, Thornberry said.
