There is a difference between being patient and being too slow.
Clinging to a 24-23 lead over Buckhorn at halftime of the Wierwille Classic at Berea College on Saturday, Anderson got a simple message from head coach Glen Drury.
“He said the game was too slow. We wanted to try to speed the game up,” said assistant coach Bryan Hyatt.
Using relentless pressure, the Bearcats ran off the first six points of the third quarter on the way to a 53-37 win over what is touted as one of the better teams in the mountains.
