If you would like to donate to Bountiful Blessings, please call New Hope, which will be delivering a hot Thanksgiving Meal to anyone requesting them in Woodford and Anderson Counties. The meal and delivery is free.
The youth will be having D-Now on Oct. 19-20 at 6 p.m. and the event ends at 1 p.m. Bring $10.
Trunk or Treat will be held on Oct. 31. There will be candy, prizes and games. No scary costumes please.
On Sunday, Oct. 21, New Hope will have a Shoe Box Preparation launch. “All are invited who would like to take part in this world wide ministry,” event organizers said.
New Hope is located at 3825 Tyrone Pike. Call 873-1707 with any questions or prayer needs.
Glensboro Christian Church
to celebrate homecoming and revival
Glensboro Christian Church will celebrate its 160th birthday with a homecoming/revival beginning on Oct. 21 and concluding on Oct. 24.
Event organizers also invite the community to join the Bible study hour at 10 a.m. and a worship service at 10:45 a.m., as well as to stay after the service for a potluck and fellowship meal.
Bro. Terry Cooper from Ninevah Christian Church will be the evangelist and services begin each night at 7 with the following groups bringing special music: Sunday night, Hilltop Trio; Monday night, Good Ol’ Boys; Tuesday night, Hedges Family; Wednesday night, Daughters of the King. Preaching will begin around 7:30 p.m.
