Mt. Pleasant Baptist to host benefit Nov. 3
Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church invites the community to a benefit for Johnny Simpson, who recently suffered a stroke and is hospitalized at the University of Louisville, on Nov. 3 beginning at 4:30 p.m.
There will be no entrance fee, and a love offering will be given. Events scheduled include a chili supper, pie and cake auction and rededication of recently remodeled portions of the church.
The 2012 Kentucky State Fair quartet winners, New Vision, will perform at 6:30 p.m.
The church is located at 1515 Willisburg Road in Lawrenceburg.

Living Waters church
celebrates anniversary
Living Waters Church of Shelbyville is celebrating “30 Years and Counting,” on Nov. 3-4 and invites the community to come celebrate with the church and guest ministers: International Messianic Worship Leader Paul Wilbur and Doc Shell, Pastor of Christ Chapel, Florence, Ala.
Services are scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 3 at 9:30 a.m. and 7 p.m., then on Sunday, Nov. 4 at 10:30 a.m.

to host trunk-or-treat
Lawrenceburg United Methodist Church will host a trunk-or-treat on Wednesday, Oct. 31 from 6-8 p.m.
The trunk-or-treat includes games and a free meal of chili, hot dogs and dessert.
The church invites participants to come in kid-friendly costumes and bring a trick-or-treat bag.

Methodist Church invites community to craft bazaar
Lawrenceburg United Methodist Church will host its annual holiday craft bazaar and breakfast Saturday, Nov. 10 starting at 8 a.m.
The bazaar, featuring more than 50 vendors and a bake sale, will be from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The breakfast including “all you can eat pancakes” will be from 8 to 11 a.m.
Price for the breakfast is $6 per adult, $3 for children age 5 and under.
Lawrenceburg United Methodist Church is located at the corner of US 127 south and Carlton Drive in Lawrenceburg.

Sand Spring Baptist
hosts gospel concert
Sand Spring Baptist Church will host a gospel concert Nov. 3 at 7 p.m. at Sand Spring Baptist Church, 1616 Harrodsburg Road in Lawrenceburg.
In concert will be His Heart Quartet from Mt. Vernon and Southern Harmony Quartet from Russell Springs.
Everyone is welcome. A love offering will be received.

Sand Spring Baptist to host simulcast event
Sand Spring Baptist Church will host a free Multiply Simulcast featuring David Platt and Francis Chan on Nov. 9 from 8-11 p.m.
This simulcast covers the important topic of discipleship.
Participants are asked to register with the church office at 502-839- 3415, so the church knows how many copies of the resource material to have on hand.
 “Come and join us as we learn and are equipped to be disciples that make disciples,” event organizers said. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.
The church is located at 1616 Harrodsburg Road in Lawrenceburg.

Westside announces upcoming November events
On Nov. 4 Westside will host a “Good Old Days” dress up event.
On Nov. 4 the first night of Westside’s revival will be held, with Jim Williams will be speaking at 6 p.m.
The revival will continue to be held Nov 5-7 with Kenneth Greene speaking all three nights starting at 6 p.m.
On Nov. 11 there will be a prayer walk at the Anderson County High School starting at 2 p.m. Everyone is invited to come.
Heritage Hall Ministry will be Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. Participants are asked to meet in the front lobby.
Lift Ladies Meeting will be Nov. 18 at 4:30 p.m.
On Nov. 25 there will be a dessert auction after the Sunday morning service.
