Prayer walks scheduled
Prayer walks are scheduled for the second Sunday of each month at Anderson County High School, organizers announced.
Those participating are asked to meet at the school’s front door at 2 p.m.The next walk is scheduled for Oct. 9

Alton Christian Church hosts revival
Alton Christian Church will host a revival Oct. 9-12 at 6:30 p.m. with the Rev. Leon Thomas presiding. There will be special music nightly.
There will also be a homecoming on Oct. 9 at 10:45 a.m. with a potluck and fellowship following the service.
Golf scramble to benefit Academy
The Christian Academy of Lawrenceburg is hosting a golf scramble Saturday, Oct. 8 at Wild Turkey Trace with a shotgun start at 1 p.m., and lunch from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. along with regisration
Teams cost $260  for a team of 4. Individuals pay $65,  but will put with a team if needed. Sponsorships: corp costs $500, individual hole sponsors pay $150, or any donation anyone willing to give.

Fellowship Baptist Church
Fellowship Baptist Church, located on Hammonds Creek Road, will celebrate its annual homecoming Oct. 9 at 11 a.m.
Benjamin Gee will be the special speaker, and everyone is invited.
Lunch will follow the morning service.

Pets blessed at St. Lawrence Catholic
 St. Lawrence Catholic Church held its annual Blessing of the Pets on Oct. 1 at St Lawrence Catholic Church in Lawrenceburg.
Approximately 12 dogs attended with their owners.
Father Chris Clay presided.This is an annual event at St. Lawrence in honor of St. Francis of Assisi.
