Sand Spring Baptist hosts concert
Sand Spring Baptist Church will sponsor a worship concert Feb. 16 featuring Shane and Shane.
According to event organizers, Shane and Shane are nationally known contemporary Christian artists. This duo has many popular songs out such as “Beauty For Ashes,” “Before The Throne,” “He is Exalted,” “Saved By Grace,” and many more.
The worship will start at 7:30 p.m. with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are free, but space is limited so contact the church office at 839-3415 to reserve tickets.
Sand Spring Baptist Church is located at 1616 Harrodsburg Road in Lawrenceburg.

Sand Spring Baptist hosts gospel trio
Greater Vision, a top southern gospel trio from Morristown, Tenn., will be in concert at Sand Spring Baptist Church on Feb. 3 at 7 p.m.
Opening for Greater Vision at 6:30 p.m. will be Common Bond, a male quartet from Mt. Sterling.
Both concerts are free, and a love offering will be received.

Alton Christian offers financial class
Alton Christian Church will offer a class called “God Provides” on Feb. 3 from 6:30-8 p.m. in the church fellowship hall.
According to event organizers, “It is a six-week series that teaches through God’s word about how the Lord provides for us, and how he can teach us to use things we own to provide for our needs. This study is so powerful. We would like to invite anyone that would be interested in this six-week lesson.”
The class is free and the church is located at 1686 Old Frankfort Road in Lawrenceburg.

Westside hosts, plans events
The following events have been held and are planned at Westside Community Church.
Past events
Jan. 8: WestSide Community Church provided a chili lunch after the 11 a.m. services and also after the Sunday 6 p.m. service.
Jan. 12: WestSide Community Church wants to thank Angie Brown for coming out to do the first aid training at the Fellowship Hall.
Jan. 15: WestSide Community Church provided hot dogs after the 11 a.m. services and also after the Sunday 6 p.m. service.
Jan. 22: WestSide Community Church had a potluck dinner after the 11 a.m. services.

Feb. 1: Bible Study at 6:30 p.m.
Feb. 5: Sunday Morning Services will be at 10 a.m., Sunday worship services will be at 11 a.m., Sunday service is at 6 p.m. with Bro. Gene speaking.
Feb. 5: Lift Ladies Meeting will be at 5 p.m. at the fellowship hall.
Feb. 8: Bible study at 6:30 p.m.
Feb. 12: Sunday school at 10 a.m., Sunday worship at 11 a.m., We will have special guest singers Heart to Heart during the 11 a.m. service,  Sunday service will be at 6 p.m.
Feb. 15: Bible study at 6:30 p.m.; senior youth meeting during Bible study.
Feb. 19: Sunday school at 10 a.m., Sunday worship at 11 a.m. with a potluck dinner after the services, Sunday night at 6 with Bro. Gene speaking.
Feb. 21: Heritage Hall Nursing Home Ministry at 7p.m.
Feb. 22: Bible study at 6:30 p.m.
Feb. 25: CPR and first aid classes will be given at 10 a.m. at the fellowship hall.
Feb. 26: Sunday school at 10 a.m., Sunday worship at 11 a.m., Sunday night at 6 .
Feb. 29: Bible study at 6:30 p.m.
