Westside announces events
Past events
On April 3 the church held a Bible Study at 6:30 p.m. and church youth watched the movie “Wreck-It Ralph.” Popcorn and drinks were served.
On April 7 Westside had Homecoming with singers “Voices of Praise.” “Westside would like to thank everyone for coming and being a part of this special Day,” according to a church release. “We would like to thank everyone that bought food and helped with the servicing of the food and for helping cleanup after.”
On April 10 the church held a Bible study about Peter and Paul, and there was a new program for the kids on Wednesday night.
On April 12 discipleship class was held and participants watched a movie about Peter and Paul. Hot dogs and chips were served.
On April 14 Westside had a special guest speaker from Lifeline Sunday Night.
On April 16 Westside went to Heritage Hall.
On April 17 the church held a Bible study about Peter and Paul, as well as a new program for kids. After the church service the youth went to Pizza Hut.
On April 24 Westside held a Bible study about Peter and Paul and the new program for the kids. There was also a pizza party for the children.
On April 27 Westside held a crafts workshop for kids ages preschool through kindergarten.
On April 28 Busy Hands for Jesus held a fundraiser after the 11 a.m. service
On April 29 the church had a softball game at Alton Ruritan Club.
Upcoming events
On May 1,8,15, 22 and 29 there will be Wednesday night Bible study starting at 6:30 p.m. Adults are studying Peter and Paul and there will be a new program for kids as well.  
On May 5 special guest singers “The Waldrige Family” will perform at 6 p.m.
On May 9 there will be a women’s softball game at 6:30 p.m., men’s starts at 7:45 p.m.
On May 3,10,17, 24 and 31 the Busy Hands For Jesus group will meet at 9 a.m. See Martha for more information.
On May 10 there will be discipleship training class. “Everyone is welcome to come and join us,” event organizers said.
On May 19 there will be a prayer walk at the Anderson County high school at 2 p.m.
On May 19 Lift Ladies will meet at 4:30 p.m.
On May 20 the women’s softball game starts at 9 p.m.
On May 21 Heritage Hall Nursing Home Ministry starts at 7 p.m.
On May 23 the men’s softball game starts at 9 p.m.
On May 24 Spring Revival starts at 6:30 p.m. Bro Daletrick Parks will be speaking.
On May 25 Spring Revival starts at 6:30 p.m. Bro. Wayne Stevenson will be speaking. Guest singer “David Clay” will be performing. Awakening Ministries Sign Art Team will be performing also.
On May 26 the close of the Spring Revival starts at 6 p.m. Bro.Stephen Lyon will be speaking. “G-Dog” the puppet will be opening our praise with Bro. Jim Williams at 6 p.m.
