Alton Christian announces
upcoming events
Alton Christian Church is collecting items for the Galilean Children's Home, according to a news release.
Church members will also be taking a trip to the Galilean Home on July 23.
The church’s youth group is studying the Book of Mark.

Church of Christ holds
vacation Bible school
Lawrenceburg Church of Christ will host its vacation Bible school July 22-25 from 7-9 p.m.
“Bible Roundup” will be the theme of the week.
According to the church’s news release, “the central focus of the Bible classes will be events demonstration the power and protection of God including ‘The Battle of Jericho,’ ‘Elijah’s Altars,’ ‘The Fiery Furnace’ and ‘Jesus’ Resurrection.’”  
Along with Bible classes there will be singing, puppets, skits, crafts and many other activities.
The teenagers of the congregation will be actively involved in helping the younger children with the various activities.
The Lawrenceburg Church of Christ is located at 558 South Main Street.  
Everyone is invited to this week of vacation Bible school with classes for all ages. If rides are needed, call Burt Paden at 839-4135.

Fellowship Baptist
offers rides to church
Fellowship Baptist Church, located on Hammonds Creek Road, is implementing a new outreach program, the church announced.
Those who want to attend services but do not have transportation are asked to call Bro. Tim Johnson at 502-517-2967.
 “The success of this new program will help determine if there is a necessity in purchasing a church van,” according to the church’s news release.  

New Hope Baptist
announces events
The youth will be taking a trip this month to Black Mountain in Harlem County, where the youth will ride the zip lines, according to a news release.
The exact time and date will be posted next week.  
Generation Plus will depart from the church at 10 a.m. on July 27 to go to the Beaumont Inn for lunch and then take a scenic ride on the Dixie Bell. Call the church office with any questions.
The Shirley’s Quartet will be at New Hope on July 26. This group sings every aspect of gospel genre.  The music begins at 7 p.m.
A huge “thank you” to all who participated in the VBS Kick Off, VBS and Family Night.

Pleasant Hill Christian
Church hosts revival
Pleasant Hill Christian Church, located at 3316 Mt. Eden Road in Mount Eden, will host a revival July 22-25 at 7 p.m. each evening.
The revival will begin Sunday, July 22 with morning worship at 11 a.m., and a potluck dinner to follow.
Special speakers include Doug Martin and his son Jesse Martin. There will also be special music.
