Women’s spiritual seminar planned

The Lawrenceburg United Pentecostal Church, located at 113 Dogwood Dr., Lawrenceburg KY 40342, invites women of Lawrenceburg for a daylong spiritual seminar Sat., May 24, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. The event will feature international speaker Vicki Richardson and fun and relaxing breakout sessions. One of the sessions is a pottery class taught by Susan Burge of Elements Pottery. The cost for the event is $35 by Wed., April 30, or $50 at the door.

Farmdale Baptist Church Easter egg hunt

Farmdale Baptist Church, located at 5610 U.S. 127 South, Frankfort KY 40601, will host its annual Community Easter Egg Hunt Sat., April 19, at 1 p.m.

Salvisa Christian Church activities planned

Salvisa Christian Church, 155 Sugar St., Lawrenceburg KY 40342, will celebrate Maundy Thursday with a Tenebrae (candlelight) worship service, including the Lord's Supper, at Thurs., April 17, at 7:30 p.m.
The Passion of Jesus will be read from the Gospel according to Matthew in its entirety.

St. Philip’s Episcopal Church holy week activities

The St. Philip’s Episcopal Church, located at 131 Short St., Harrodsburg KY 40330, has weeklong activities planned.
    A Tenebrae  (candlelit) service of Bible readings and Psalms will be held Wed., April 16 a at 6:30 p.m. at the St. Philip’s Episcopal Church located at 131 Short St., Harrodsburg KY.
    A Maundy Thursday service will be held Thursday at 6:30 p.m. to commemorate the beginning of the Lord’s Supper and concluding with the stripping of the altar.
    A Reflections of Jesus’ journey to the Cross Stations of the Cross will be held Fri., April 18, at noon.
    A Good Friday Liturgy service will be held Fri., April 18, at 6:30 p.m. in remembrance of Jesus’ crucifixion.
    An Easter service with communion will be held Sun., April 20, at 10 a.m.
