Several homeowners along Harrodsburg Road were visibly upset with local officials when last week's torrential rains overflowed the drainage ditch bordering their property and washed out portions of their yards and driveways.
They blamed the flooding on the construction of the recent sewer line project that left their property barren of vegetation that ordinarily would have helped the soil from washing away.
