COLUMN: Clerk offers more connections to county office

-A A +A

By Jason Denny

As we begin a new year, the Anderson County Clerk’s Office will begin using additional means of informing the public of valuable information that pertains to our office.

We hope that this will give you alternate ways of getting your questions answered as well as, bringing you information that in previous years might not have been readily available. Late last year, I approached The Anderson News Editor Ben Carlson and asked if he would entertain the idea of me writing a monthly column. I intend to use this as a means of communicating information and changes in the office that effect each of you.

Please feel free to suggest topics that you would like discussed. I will do my very best to answer your questions as they come up. You may also call the office or e-mail me at jason.denny2@ky.gov with questions or comments.

Last year we also launched a new website http://andersoncountyclerk.ky.gov. This site has links to forms that are used in our office as well as answers to commonly asked questions. It has our office hours and contact information, as well as our holiday schedule. We update information as it becomes available to us from state and local government.

We are also now on Facebook as the Anderson County Clerks Office.

We hope that you will use these tools to better assist you and allow you to get answers to question 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

We will continue to strive to use every means available to us to make your experience with our office as pleasant as it can be.

Jason Denny is Anderson’s county clerk.
