“Crossbows are for handicapped people,” the guy at Bass Pro Shop said, a smarmy grin plastered to his face that, if not for fear of an assault and battery charge, I would have gladly wiped right off his puss. “You guys don’t look handicapped.”
That’s pretty much the reaction I’ve received from pompous, more camouflaged-than-thou archery enthusiasts since my son bought me a crossbow for my birthday earlier this month.
