First thing Friday morning, I began to complain to myself, if not out loud.
It was raining. It was cold(er than it had been). It was shaping up to be a miserable day.
But Friday was one of those days when something happens to put all of your complaints in perspective.
I had an interview, which was set to take place outdoors, scheduled for Friday morning.
While at that interview, I got rained on, my hair was wet and I knelt down in something that I’m going to call mud.
But by the end of the interview, none of those things mattered.
