Anderson County just keeps proving how great it is.
So far this year we’ve had so many things to be happy about, including sports victories, shooting a film and we’re among the toughest on drunk driving in the state.
Although some of us can’t drive, we still ride in cars.
With Christmas a few weeks away there will be lots of traveling to various places. We all know the roads aren’t always the safest places, but knowing Anderson County law enforcement is very watchful of the roads makes you feel safer.
Anderson County police and the county attorney are great at what they do, and they deserve our thanks.
Speaking of doing a good job, Anderson Middle School Lady Mustangs sure did. They won the state championship. If you’ve ever been on a sports team you know you have to work hard, play good and be devoted.
I’ve learned that from my own experiences. While playing sports is fun, and it’s supposed to be, there’s time consumption involved. You have to keep a good balance of everything, especially school.
The Lady Mustangs really stepped up to the plate. And you can only imagine the stress and nervousness they were under at Rupp Arena. They were at state championships and they knew it was time to shine and show everyone what they’ve worked on. All I can say is congratulations; it’s amazing what you can do with hard work.
Anderson County will continue getting great things. Our county officials and everyone who works here do great things for us. No matter what the job is they do their best and work their hardest. I’m very thankful for that, too. Knowing now that we’re safer than some gives me a better feeling about it all. Thank you Anderson County, you continue to give us reasons to cheer. God bless.
