COLUMN: A Halloween 'princess diary'

Being a Disney princess never goes out of style — on Halloween that is.

In my research for the story on today’s front page, I learned that Disney princess costumes are the seventh most popular among children this year. And of course, if you have a young girl in the family or take a stroll through any toy section for any reason, you’re bound to see the whole gang — Snow White, Belle, Cinderella, Aurora.

For me, I’m not exactly sure who came first, Belle or Cinderella. Either way, they both have left vivid Halloween stories in my memory.
