COLUMN: My earliest football memories

The only thing I can remember about the first Super Bowl I ever watched on television is that the Green Bay Packers were a part of it.
Given my age and the length of Brett Favre’s career, I can also deduce that he was the team’s starting quarterback.
After some Googling and other modern-day research, I’ve determined that my first Super Bowl memories were developed either in early 1997 or 1998. If I could remember whether the Packers won or lost, that would let me know which year, but I truly have no idea.
