I admit it.
Sitting in the Sun Deck at Great American Ball Park last Thursday I never really lost hope. Sure, the Reds were trailing the Milwaukee Brewers 1-0 in the bottom of the ninth inning. Sure, Zack Cozart and Joey Votto had struck out.
I still had hope. Call me a Reds fan, if you like. You'd be making the major understatement. I am a huge Reds fanatic. Have been since Jim Maloney was blowing National League batters away and Leo Cardenas was one of baseball's most under-rated shortstops.
