COLUMN: Politicking food for thought

Anderson County’s political candidates campaigned hard this past weekend.

Well, at least that’s what I can assume from the pile of campaign literature I found blocking the entrance to my home on Sunday night.

So maybe “blocking the entrance” is a bit overkill, but I had a lot to pick up before I could unlock the door and go inside.

I was out of town this weekend, so I wasn’t home to answer the multiple knocks on my door, although I’m sure my dog tried her best from the back yard to tell the candidates I wasn’t there.
