COLUMN: President’s speech was inspiring, not controversial

President Obama made history yet again, but this time he inspired a nation of children. Elementary students did not get to view it but almost all the middle school and two high school classes watched it.

I was in one of those two high school classes when it was on.

Obama’s speech wasn’t full of politics like some people thought. Instead it turned out to be pretty inspiring.
