COLUMN: Sixth District deserves some face time, Ben

As the nation churns over health care reform, those of us living in Congressman Ben Chandler’s district apparently aren’t going to be able to ask his thoughts on the divisive issue.

I mentioned last week that Chandler has no town hall meetings scheduled during his August recess. It’s hard to blame him because his fellow democrats in Congress are getting shouted out of their own town hall meetings by people not ready to allow government to take over so much of nation’s healthcare.
