COLUMN: Things learned this weekend

Occasionally, I write a serious column about things I learn or about how important learning is in general. This is not one of those columns. I learned a few fun things this weekend, so I’ll share those.

Thing #1

I love my mother, but she is almost impossible to tolerate when watching a University of Kentucky basketball game.

She is a UK fan, as in she wants the team to win and win by about 60 if at all possible.
