Come to Dairy Queen to support the Cubs Scouts Aug. 4
Travis and Nycole Huber are den leaders for Den # 3 Wolf Cubs in Lawrenceburg. They are leading their den in the Super Nova Awards for the whole troop.
This has never been done before and it’s quite an privilege to see them working so hard to achieve this award. The Scout headquarters said they’ve never had a whole troop work on this award before. There are many patches, pins, certificates and awards to be given to each child when they receive this award, and the troop has to pay for their own awards items.
This is where you can help. Visit Dairy Queen 5-8 p.m. Monday, August 4, and Dairy Queen will give 10 percent of their earnings for that time frame to the Wolf Cubs to help fund these awards.  Also, if you can't attend but would still like to donate, please give your donation to either Vern Huber or Gail Huber. Vern can be reached by email at vern101@roadrunner.com.
Dairy Queen is located at 606 West Broadway in Lawrenceburg.
